The international conference organised in Bari from 20 to 22 January will open a debate with public and main stakeholders of olive oil sector.
EVOO Research’s Got Talent is the first international training congress for young researcher expert in the olive oil sector. The goal of the EVOO Research’s Got Talent is to contribute to the professional and human growth of the new generations and develop the talent of new generations.
A selection of world 24 best under-45 researchers, working on all the scientific aspects linked to extra virgin olive oil, will participate as invited speakers!
After the International Coneference, the University of Bari, Interdisciplinary Department of Medicine in collaboration with SVIMED, organised an event on the 23rd of January with the support of the Italian Department of the Central Inspectorate of the protection of the Quality and the Fraud Repression of the agricultural and food products - Laboratory ICQRF of Perugia and other projects concerning olive oil sector. The conference will be held on 23 January 2020 in Bari, from 9.30 to 13.30 and is the opportunity to share the results of the International Conference but also on the different projects that deals with the Communication on the qualities and properties of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The day will be divided into three different moments: the morning will open with the welcome conference in which the world of research will offer olive growers and oil mills an overview of the most innovative research ideas that emerged from the comparison of the 24 young talented researchers selected for EVOO RESEARCH’S GOT TALENT, offering the prospects of transferability and the benefits that will derive from it.
The work will continue with the contributions of the representatives of the Department of the Central Inspectorate for the Protection of Quality and the Repression of Food and Food Fraud and the Customs and Monopolies Agency, and a space dedicated to the debate to satisfy the needs and requests for information of all operators present in the room who face the issue of controls on a daily basis.
To close the morning agenda, a round table that will host the issue of fraud and journalistic communication, to underline that the Italian agri-food sector has one of the most effective control systems in Europe..

EVOO Research Got Talentd e un evento di valenza internazionale realizzato dall'Universita di Bari dal 20 al 22 Gennaio 2019 e si aprira al pubblico e agli attori della filiera olivicola il 23 gennaio 2020 a Bari. Aristoil in collaborazione con l'Universita di Bari e il Dipartimento dell'Ispettorato Centrale della tutela della Qualita e della Repressione Frodi dei prodotti agroalimentari - Laboratorio ICQRF di Perugia, nell'ambito del progetto Aristoil (cofinanziato dal programma Interreg MED) e COmpetitive (finanziato da AGER) apriranno un confronto tra operatori e tecnici esperti nel settore antifrodi e controlli alimentari.
